Louco is an event discovery platform with dedicated experiences for private users and event creators across mobile and web. While my work spanned all four product surfaces, this case study focuses on the mobile experience.
Problem Context
AI accelerated the starting point by quickly visualizing product ideas, but human design work was needed to make it a coherent product experience.
How might we turn Louco’s fragmented AI-generated concepts into a cohesive, launch-ready product experience?
Solution
With time as our biggest constraint, the product team prioritized key areas for the first launch phase and aligned on a “delivery over perfection” mindset. I had to quickly identify design trade-offs, focusing on the improvements that created the most user value while keeping development moving.
Understand
- Reviewed existing flows with PM & Tech Lead to identify UX gaps
- Mapped inconsistencies across mobile/web and private/creator experiences
- Identified missing states, interactions, and unclear journeys
Systemize
- Prioritized improvements based on impact and launch needs
- Built reusable components and UI patterns
- Collaborated daily with engineers to align solutions and prevent blockers
Deliver
- Translated findings into improved flows and interactions
- Adapted designs to technical constraints
- Created implementation-ready designs for development
The Event Detail screen lacked a centralized place to manage tickets, invitations, promotions, and event settings.
I redesigned the Event Detail screen into a centralized creator management hub, making key event actions accessible from one place throughout the event lifecycle.
Reduced context switching by giving creators one dedicated place to manage their events.
The cancellation flow combined confirmation, consequences, and follow-up actions into a single dialog.
Reduced cognitive load
I redesigned the flow into a focused confirmation with a dedicated success state, separating decision-making from system feedback.
Connected accounts lacked a complete management flow beyond the initial connection state.
Improved account security and user control
I designed an end-to-end account management flow, enabling users to securely connect, manage, and disconnect their login methods.
